Our certified and professional Mountain Guides in Ecuador

High Summits exclusively works with certified guides, members of the Ecuadorian Association of Mountain Guides ASEGUIM.   Many of them have been trained by the National School of Ski and Mountain climbing ENSA in Chamonix (France) and in addition in the High Mountain Police of Chamonix.   Some of them also are instructors of the ASEGUIM where they train jung mountain guides in Ecuador.   They have made important ascents in the Himalayas, the Alps, Bolivia, France, Switzerland, Argentina, Chile and Peru.  

For your security our guides count on cellular telephones and necessary radios in cases of emergency. Our mountain guides are bilingual, speaking either English, German or French besides Spanish, their native language.

The ascents of Chimborazo, Cotopaxi, Cayambe, Antisana, Altar and Iliniza Sur always will be made with a guide to client ratio of maximum 1:3, on glaciars ascents our mountain guides generally are guiding 2 climbers, ocasionally 3.
