Our ASEGUIM - IFMGA certified Climbing Guides and Mountain Guides in Ecuador

High Summits and our mountain guides in Ecuador. For the safety of our guests and for quality assurance we have always been working only with experienced, certified guides of the Ecuadorian Mountain Guides Association (ASEGUIM, member of the IVBV ). All can look back on many years of successful mountain guide activity and have also made ascents in the Alps, the Himalayas and the Andes. All our mountain guides speak at least a second language (English, German, French) in addition to Spanish.
On the ascent of Chimborazo, Cotopaxi, Cayambe, Antisana, Altar and Iliniza South Summit, we strictly maintain a guide / guest ratio of 1 to 2, on the glacier our guides usually guide 1 or 2 guests. In exceptional cases 3, if e.g. a guest of a rope team breaks off the ascent and the second can continue with another rope team.
Our mountain guides are equipped with mobile phones and radios and are in contact with our office and with each other, so we can ensure swift action if the well-being of our guests requires it or if despite all professionalism and caution an emergency situation should arise.
During the acclimatization programs, our groups are led and guided by a mountain guide and, in the tourist program, by a mountain guide or a national tour guide.
